HTC has not had a strong financial year in 2012. Its flagship phone, the HTC One X may have been a formidable piece of hardware, but in the presence of the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3, it was unable to create its place amongst the leaders in the pack for the race of smartphone dominance.

HTC has come out with its new smartphone, the HTC DROID DNA 4G , which it has designed alongside Verizon. It will be marketed as the successor of the HTC One X. Only time will tell whether it will be able to show itself amongst the tough smartphone competition it faces. From the specs and hardware alone, we think that it has a chance.

The HTC DNA was reveled in the US in the month of October. In Japan it is named the HTC Butterfly. The Android Smartphone comes with the same hardware as Japanese counterpart. It sports one of the best display in the market, having a pixel density which we have never seen on any device before. The device is available a week from now.
